In this week’s Artist Spotlight, Vegas Findom Queen Ms. Charmness addresses the importance of doing what you love and staying true to who you are, along with some revelations that may surprise you.
Let’s dive right in…
If you could have one gigantic billboard anywhere with anything on it— what would it say and why?
Ms. Charmness: “Do what you love” I think people often lose sight of how important it is to enjoy what you do every day. We get wrapped up in what’s convenient, what we think is socially acceptable, and what we think will have the greatest reward.
Whether you love being a submissive, being a clip artist, or just have a really weird hobby; as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone, I would encourage you to explore and do what you love.
Something about you that would surprise your audience?
Ms. Charmness: I think fans would be surprised to know that I am actually really frugal. I hate spending more than I have to on anything. Not really a common theme in Findom! Finding new ways to save money is really a passion at this point and having this as a goal has helped to grow my artistic and creative abilities.
What was the last gift you gave someone?
Ms. Charmness: I am constantly spoiling my family and friends with materialistic gifts but the most significant gift that I give daily is the gift of my time. Those that earn my attention know what a precious commodity my time is. I am constantly exercising my multitasking abilities so when I am focused on an individual it is the greatest gift I can give.
What purchase of $100 or less has most positively impacted your life in the last six months (or in recent memory)?
Ms. Charmness: I used to have a terrible habit of spending $200 on my nails every two weeks. I would spend hours having someone put designs on my nails that were never quite right. I recently purchased a pack of Dashing Diva Nail guard strips for $28.99 and I am in LOVE. The strips go in between my natural nails and the ones I design, then they peel off everything without damaging my nails. I get to re-do and glam up my nails whenever I want! I’ve started using this trick to have “nail day” sessions with a special sissy, she gets a hot pair of nails for a few hours and nobody knows the slut’s secret!
What is an unusual habit or an absurd thing that you love?
Ms. Charmness: I have an obsession with conspiracy theories. I was just telling a friend the other day that if ONE event in history is proven to be a conspiracy then the door is open for any other event to be considered. While I can literally spend hours learning about and discussing these theories, I have yet to get to the doomsday prepper stage.
What’s your favorite 90’s jam?
Ms. Charmness: My mom once told me that I was conceived to a Boyz II Men album, I’ve been grooving with them ever since! My favorite jam is definitely “End of the Road” from their 1991 album CooleyHighHarmony.
You walk into a market and only buy 3 things. What are they and why?
Ms. Charmness: I walk in, I grab some coffee cause it’s an addiction. I would then find the snack aisle and grab some Snyders of Hanover honey mustard pretzel pieces, cause in a perfect world every store has them. My final stop would be the gift card aisle to buy the most expensive Amazon gift card because I prefer front door service.
What was the last job you held before joining iWantEmpire?
Ms. Charmness: Before BDSM and IWantClips I had Burlesque. I worked and traveled as both the stage manager and a performer for Leather & Feathers Kinky Cabaret. I love spreading body positivity, showcasing sex appeal, and proving to the world that my body is a work of fucking art and should be displayed as such!
How did you get started on iWantClips?
Ms. Charmness: I was actually telling a friend she should start making clips because she never had time for cam sessions. In the process of researching and explaining everything to her I realized that this is the perfect medium for people that need discretion and have limited availability to experience my power.
What are bad recommendations you hear given to people just starting out in the industry?
Ms. Charmness: Someone told me when I first started that as a Domme I am expected to wear latex and leather in sessions and clips. I’m always seeing similar advice floating around. It takes all kinds of people with all kinds of tastes to make the world go round, especially in the BDSM world. I don’t feel that I need to be uncomfortable and sweaty in order to put a bitch in their place, so I’ve made a point never to wear anything that isn’t true to who I am as a person.
