Spookster Raquel Roper Joins IWC For Today’s Artist Spotlight

by IWC

IWC Clip Producer Raquel Roper is a Professional Spookster with a trail of sissies ready to bow at her feet at any given moment. No stranger to being in control, she and her husband make an array of creative content for her subs – from cuckold and denial to worship and humiliation. On today’s Artist Spotlight, we get a little more personal with Raquel, touching on topics like why she loves being a Domme and her idea of a perfect sub. Read on, Losers.

What do you love about being a Domme?

RR – Being in control of my sexuality and being fearless to express it. Establishing intimate connections, whether they be long lasting in a dynamic or in a simple scene with a play partner. Truly learning the ins and outs of a submissive. Getting into their head, and staying there… those are some of my favorite aspects about being a Domme.

How would you describe your style?

RR – Describing my style could be rather difficult, simply because I’m growing and evolving daily. I’ve been producing clips and diving into BDSM since I was 19 years old. As I have learned more about my own sexual desires and fantasies, as well as expanded my knowledge and tastes; my content has developed with me. Changing. My work is a reflection of that, my own journey and what I’ve explored whilst taking it. What it could be described as in it’s current state? I think a wrapped up way of describing my “style” and work; would be sensual sadism & I believe my fans, followers, and submissives would surely agree.

Tell us your most memorable or noteworthy moment of being a Domme…

RR – As cheesy as I don’t wish to make this sound… honestly? Every moment is memorable, noteworthy. I’m thankful for every day I live this life.

Favorite categories to perform in?

RR – Strap-on / Pegging. Sissification / Feminization. Chastity training. Bondage. Cuckolding. Orgasm control, Tease & Denial,  Giantess, Vore… these are all my biggest personal fetishes, although there are far more to add to the list as well. My reasons for producing majority of my content in these categories & more remains the same. They are what turns me on. What I fantasize about bringing to life. Or what I have the most experience and interest in.

What is the ideal sub? What could they do to impress You?

RR – My ideal submissive, is someone who is desiring to rid themselves of ego. To dive into true and total power exchange. Not someone who is interested in one off self serving sessions to get their rocks off, but someone who wishes to serve another. A reality, not a fantasy. A long-term submissive who spends years in service to me. Invested completely mentally and physically within the dynamic. A submissive who I can also engage with outside of the dynamic, and call a friend. Someone whom I can laugh with. This, is the ideal submissive to me. It’s really no different than what I look for in individuals whom I have other platonic or romantic relationships with.

Would you consider your work as a Domme to be your lifestyle, or do you enjoy a balance/separation between being a Domme and your personal life?

RR – My work as a Domme is definitely a reflection of my lifestyle and personal sexuality. I am just as diverse on camera, as I am off. But just like anything else in my life there is balance and separation. There are moments where I need to step out of power dynamics to work on myself and tend to personal matters. That’s merely because I’m human.

Please describe what being in the moment as a Domme feels like to you… Is it a rush? Exciting? Expected? Anything in between?

RR – Power exchange, is surely a rush. And is a complete endorphin high and release for both the top and bottom. Dominant or submissive. It’s exciting, because it’s never expected. You never truly know what twists and turns the exchange will take along the way, or what you will explore with one another. How far it will go…

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

RR – “Behind The Wheel” – Depeche Mode.

This isn’t something you can do half-heartedly if you desire to be successful at it. It’s a full-time job. It is your business, and it is up to you and you alone to make it thrive and prosper.

Who is your favorite actor/actress and why?

RR – Jake Gyllenhaal, I mean… have you seen the guy?

If you could go to dinner with any celebrity, living or dead, who would you choose?

RR – Jim Morrison. I’ve always been fascinated by him & his work. I’d love if it were possible to have a chat with him & pick his brain.

If you could only eat one meal everyday for the rest of your life, what would it be?

RR – All the sushi.

Do you have any current obsessions?

RR – My work, although that’s more like a forever obsession.
Adding more ink onto my skin.
Spending far too much money on filming equipment.
Binging junk on Youtube.

What is your favorite book?

RR – Running With Scissors. Or anything by Augusten Burroughs, or Chuck Palahniuk. I also love Freak Show by James St. James.

What is your dream vacation destination?

RR – I can never grow tired of traveling to Japan.

What is something about you that would surprise your audience?

RR – I wear pajamas more than anything else.

What was the last job you held before joining iWantEmpire?

RR – Cosmetologist, Professional Make-up Artist.

How did you get started on iWantClips?

RR – I believe I joined shortly after meeting the team at AVN one year. I believe I’ve been with IWantClips for 3 years now.

What are bad recommendations you hear given to people just starting out in the industry?

RR – You’re not going to want to do all of your editing off a laptop, no matter how compact or convenient  it may seem. If you want to efficiently crank out quality content, do yourself a favor and invest in a powerful desktop.

What advice would you give to a new artist starting out in the industry?

RR – This isn’t something you can do half-heartedly if you desire to be successful at it. It’s a full-time job. It is your business, and it is up to you and you alone to make it thrive and prosper. It will not come easy. The individuals who are posting thousand dollar tributes and bulk video sales invested time and energy to get there. It does not come easy nor does it come overnight. You, are your only competition.
