Welcome to this week’s Artist Spotlight, bringing the community together by delving into our Artists’ most inspiring ideas and practices, as well as a few of their favorite things. This week we are joined by Queer, Latinx Goddess Adore Miss Ava. Gorgeous & sweet on the outside, sadistic & mean on the inside. Let’s get to it…
What are some of your favorite aspects of being an Artist?
AMA: Independence. The creative freedom/outlet. Creating looks. Experiencing men groveling at My virtual feet.
How would you describe your style as a clip producer and Artist?
AMA: I’m a playful person by nature & I think that comes across. I giggle quite a bit in My videos. I channel gentle Femdom, with a kick (or five).
What is the most memorable or noteworthy moment of being an Artist?
AMA: My first tribute. I went back and forth with myself for quite some time about becoming a clip artist & getting that initial recognition felt great (& turned me on)!
What are your favorite categories (fetish, JOI, roleplay, humiliation, etc) to perform in and why?
AMA: Humiliation! It comes naturally to Me. I really do think men are the scum of the Earth. 🙂 I also enjoy specific fetish clips, like eyelashes or armpits.
Please describe your ideal sub and what this person could do to impress you.
AMA: Money is My fetish & the way to My good graces.
Would you consider your work as an Artist to be your lifestyle, or do you enjoy a balance/separation between being an Artist and your personal life?
AMA: Although some elements of being Dominant spill into My personal life, I enjoy separation. It makes it more enjoyable for Me when it comes time to create.
Please describe what being in the moment as an Artist feels like to you… Is it a rush? Exciting? Expected? Anything in between?
AMA: Maybe it sounds cheesy, but it feels like a flow state. I don’t write scripts for Myself, I really just like to think of a concept and let it flow naturally. I love when the words roll off My tongue effortlessly & feeling like the ultimate brat. Fully in control.
What is your dream vacation destination?
AMA: Bali. Tropical weather, massages & gourmet raw vegan food. A vacation fit for a Queen like Me.
What is your dream home location?
AMA: Although it’s not weathering climate change in the most ideal way, I dream of one day having a large home in My native Puerto Rico. Living off the land, growing all My favorite tropical fruits, bronzing My skin & bathing in the rainforest. One day!
If you were to win the Power Ball tomorrow, what’s the first thing you’d do with your money?
AMA: Give most, if not all, to other SWs. Especially black & trans babes. They deserve the world.
What is something about you that would surprise your audience?
AMA: I like to switch in My personal life. I feel it gives Me better insight into being the best Dominant I can be.
What was the last job you held before joining iWantEmpire?
AMA: I was a fitness instructor. Clearly, I enjoy telling people what to do!
How did you get started on iWantClips?
AMA: I trained under a Domme I’ve looked up to for quite some time, & She posted about her IWC store often. I love the idea of creating My own brand, My own style of videos & decided to follow in Her footsteps with My own flair. I’m so glad I did!
What are bad recommendations you hear given to people just starting out in the industry?
AMA: To just bust out content in a quantity over quality type of way. I try to release a new clip every day since I’m still pretty new, but it feels so much better to really plan out a schedule: a day to film, a day to edit & upload, so You aren’t pressed to put out a clip that maybe wasn’t Your best work just for the exposure.
What advice would you give to a new artist starting out in the industry?
AMA: I’m pretty new Myself, but I was listening to a podcast with another performer where She said ‘You’ll never know what You’re doing wrong unless You watch Your own stuff.’ That really rang true for Me. Editing My own videos is so fun & creative, & it definitely helps to notice how often I’m talking at the screen vs. the camera, or other little things like that. Keep learning, keep growing
