This week we shined the spotlight on dominate Lady Ashley as she opens up about her fashion choices and her unique clips style in an all-new edition of Artist Spotlight. Exclusively from iWantClips

Let’s get right into it

If you could have one gigantic billboard anywhere with anything on it— what would it say and why?

Lady Ashley:     “If I could have a message on a giant billboard, I wouldn’t.  Billboards are a distraction to drivers, and I take driving safety very seriously.”

Something about you that would surprise your audience?

Lady Ashley:     “Something that may surprise my fans is that I aspire to be a stand-up comedian.  Over the years, I’ve worked on my joke crafting and delivery.  Some of my Twitter followers may be familiar with my crude and mean, yet insightful sense of humor.  The first comedian I ever liked was David Spade, so there’s a healthy dose of 90s snark in my jokes.”

What was the last gift you gave someone?

Lady Ashley:     “The last gift I gave was a record to a fellow Domme for her birthday and domme-anniversary.  She got me back, though, and bought me some clips clothes off of my wishlist and included the note, “You’re not the only sneaky one.”  I’ll get her back, though lol.”

What purchase of $100 or less has most positively impacted your life in the last six months (or in recent memory)?

Lady Ashley:     “The last inexpensive purchase I made that had a positive impact was concert tickets to see TUNS.  It was another excuse to travel across the border to Canada, and my first time staying in Toronto.  I got to meet and hang out with some cool people at the show.  Experiencing a world city at the end of summer was quite the mindset changing the experience.  I have much less anxiety about crowds and busy streets”

What makes your clip style unique?

Lady Ashley:     “What makes my clip style unique is my sensuality and sophistication.  I enjoy dressing up in nice outfits, showing off my natural beauty and hourglass curves, and seducing men.  I’ve got a strong sex drive and I love attention, so being sexy in clips is perfect for my personality.  I use my poise and class to elevate myself to a position of power, turning many men into submissive pets.  I use positive reinforcement to ensure fans and pets stay in line, rather than berate them.  I want to surround myself with worthy pets, not losers.”

What’s your favorite ’90s jam?

Lady Ashley:     “My favorite song is from 1994 and it’s Deeper Than Beauty by my favorite band Sloan.  All four members of Sloan write and perform songs and they’ve got lots of great music from the 90s through now, but the simplicity and sweet lyrics of Deeper Than Beauty will always put me in a good mood.”

You walk into a market and buy only three things, what are they and why?

Lady Ashley:     “Three must-haves from a market are water, milk and bananas.  I’d also add in cheese and crackers, because one can’t always grantee it will be easy to find agreeable food while traveling.  Especially for someone like me who has a sensitive stomach.”

What was the last job you held before joining iWantEmpire?

Lady Ashley:     “Other than a couple of jobs during high-school, I never had a “regular” job.  I’m in my eighth year of creating fetish clips and I see more success and money every year.  My full-time passion is making sensual, beautiful clips”

How did you get started on iWantClips?

Lady Ashley:     “I joined IWC a few years ago when I was looking to earn more money.  The site had been around for a bit and I saw lots of Top Dommes linking to, and promoting, their IWC store on Twitter.  As soon as I joined I was selling clips, and I’ve even made it into the Top 50 a few times.  It was really cool when I got an email with my own vanity URL.  I felt like I was part of the team.”

What are some bad recommendations you hear in the industry?

Lady Ashley:     “I don’t see lots of recommendations, but I have a few tips for anyone starting out.  First, avoid Twitter drama.  It’s undignified to gossip and it’s a huge distraction from work.  Gossiping isn’t going to grow your business, and sometimes trolls are just looking to cause friction.  Secondly, wear what you want, say what you want, be who you are.  If you truly have a sexual energy and passion for your work, you’re better off focusing on what you enjoy, rather than following the suggestions of a random people, even if they happen to be a customer.  If everyone wears the same outfit and flashes the same hand gestures, what’s the point?  Be yourself, work on increasing your production value, and you’ll have more success and less regrets as time goes on.
